A native of Pocatello Idaho, Terry Donat completed his Bachelors of Music and Masters of Music degrees at Bringam Young University, Provo UT. Dr. John Longhurst was his teacher for both degrees. Mr. Donat did post-graduate work at Indiana University in Bloomington IN with Dr Oswald Ragatz. This is Terry’s 15th year as Organist / Music Director at St Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church on Wayne Ave in Dayton.

Effie Sue Kemerley
A long-time member of Grace Church, serves as organist and participates in special music programs. She has a B.Ed. from the University of Toledo and a M.Ed. from Wright State University. Effie Sue studied organ during college, and continued studying both organ and piano after graduating. She is currently the piano adjunct at Stivers High School for the Arts, and has a private piano studio. Effie Sue has been a member of Dayton Philharmonic Chorus for more than thirty years, and she sang in Grace Church choir for over twenty years. She has also served on the Beavercreek School Board and current community involvement includes the Dayton Opera and Philharmonic and the Green County Council on Aging. Effie Sue is an avid reader and bibliophile.

Trudy Faber
Mrs. Faber is a full Professor in the Department of Music at Wittenberg University, director of the Wittenberg Handbell Choir, and the organist at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Springfield Oh. She served as the chair of the Department of Music from 1995-2004. In the spring of 1998, she was the recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Award from the University.

A specialist in Baroque music, Trudy has presented papers, recitals, and workshops on various aspects of dance elements in the music of Bach for colleges, chapters of the American Guild of Organists, and national and international events. As a specialist on women composers, she gives lectures, presents organ and harpsichord recitals featuring the music of leading women composers.
Mrs. Faber has performed several times with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, most recently on December 2, 2006, playing harpsichord for orchestral pieces by Handel and Corelli. In 1994, Trudy was the artist chosen to perform with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra for the opening gala concert of the new Performing Arts Center in Springfield.



After graduation from Calvin College, she received a Fulbright Scholarship for a year of study in organ, harpsichord, and continuo playing with Gustav Leonhardt at the Amsterdam Conservatory, The Netherlands. She continued with graduate work in musicology at the University of Toronto and completed her MA in music on a full scholarship at Smith College. Trudy has done additional graduate work at Stanford University and the New England Conservatory.

As a recitalist, Trudy has performed throughout the United States and Europe as an organist and harpsichordist. From January thru May 2007, she presented recitals at Heidelberg College, Ohio, in College Station, Texas, and at St. John’s Cathedral, Albuquerque, New Mexico. In May, she completed another European recital tour, with recitals in Berlin, at St. Nicolai Church, Leipzig on the famous Silbermann organ in Rotha, and at the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany.
